Mima
Mima is a human-centred and inclusive design agency. We’ve spent almost 50 years making environments and experiences engaging and equitable for all. Our accessibility and inclusive design consultants all have lived experience of disability and/or neurodivergence themselves, with all of our senior-level team members being NRAC-accredited. We specialise in working with the culture and heritage and live events sectors, with clients including the National Maritime Museum, Science Museum Group, COP28 and Dubai Expo 2020. We work as access consultants on RIBA-stage masterplan works; conduct access audits and deliver findings and recommendations reports; work with exhibit designers to ensure interesting, challenging and equitable outcomes for disabled and non-disabled users; design and deliver bespoke disability awareness training; work on alternative format guides and tours for museums and galleries; author inclusive design standards, policies and processes; and recruit and facilitate lived experience user groups to act as ‘critical friends’ throughout a design process.
