For instance, if someone is experiencing a trauma response or sensory overload because of loud alarms or large crowds moving at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In briefings and drills, remind staff how to communicate accessibly during an emergency, this could include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>using short, simple instructions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>allowing processing time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>planning in contingency time to allow for different responses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-ace-heading\">Accessible information available pre-visit<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Have a clear statement available as part of your access information so that people know how to find out about your emergency evacuation plan before visiting.
